the BIG DAY
Hi, I'm Ian Spencer. I've been photographing weddings for over 30 years and I have photographed hundreds if not thousands of weddings locally in Hull, Hessle and Beverley, East Yorkshire as well as nationwide. To me, It’s an honour to be part of a couples wedding day as I know only too well that the task of choosing your wedding photographer is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make for your wedding. For that reason alone it’s important to me that you get it right, even if it means that in the end that you don’t choose me.
I’m always looking to capture those real moments with real emotion that only happen when people are at ease and not feeling like they have to perform for the camera. I do, however, also love capturing some beautiful, casually posed couple portraits of just the two of you during the day and of course, all of the details that go to make up your wedding story from your dress to your table plan and everything in between.
I will always meet my couples before they book. We can chat through your plans and I can explain in more detail how I work and answer any questions you may have. If after meeting me you decide that I’m the photographer for you, I require a deposit which secures the date. A little nearer your wedding I will arrange a meeting with, we’ll also go through all of your day and final timings too.
After your big day I will spend time selecting the very best images from the many we have taken and then editing each one individually. They will be ready for you to re-live the day around 1-2 weeks after your wedding.
a final NOTE
The role of the photographer on your wedding day is a very important one. It goes without saying that they need to be respectful and unobtrusive, but most importantly they need to have the skill to adapt to a multitude of situations and weathers that a wedding day can bring. On top of skill, your choice of photographer is mainly about style and personality. Once you've established the style of photography you like, make sure that you will feel comfortable having them around on your wedding day. After all, your photographer will be with you for somewhere in the region of 8-9 hours!

Perfect for very small weddings.
The wedding portrait covers the basics. we cover the ceremony and a few group shots after.
Normally we stay for 2 hours including the ceremony.
we charge £100 for the attendance
but the rest is up to you.
